I have enjoyed countless of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of runs. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
