I have bet on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of cash at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that blackjack appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first 20 dollar wager
Bet $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
