I have played millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of funds at blackjack. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the house.
I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
