I have wagered on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this method or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You must comprehend that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you notice betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 bet

Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10

Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 bet

Bet 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager

Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80

Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
